The Blackhawks 100th Season
Immersive Aerial Storytelling at the United Center
To celebrate the Chicago Blackhawks’ 100th anniversary, we delivered on-site drone storytelling across four historic game nights—each aligned with a core centennial chapter: Opening Night, The Originals, The Madhouse, and The Banner Years.
Flying inside the United Center, our team captured and edited cinematic drone footage in real time, delivering 1–2 in-game assets per night, with additional content released post-game to extend the story beyond game day. A live aerial feed was also integrated directly into the CHSN broadcast, bringing dynamic drone perspectives to viewers at home.
Key moments included Madhouse Night, featuring Wayne Messmer’s iconic National Anthem performance, and Banner Night, honoring the 2010, 2013, and 2015 Stanley Cup championship teams alongside the Stanley Cup itself. Single, fluid camera movements transported fans from ice level to the rafters—revealing the scale, energy, and emotion of the arena in ways traditional cameras cannot.
Result: A premium, emotionally resonant fan experience that honored a century of Blackhawks history while redefining how live hockey is experienced—on screen and in the arena.
