Summary

Our team partnered with TNT Sports to support social coverage of the 2026 American League Championship Series in Cleveland, pairing on-site videography with a real-time editing workflow built for postseason baseball.

The creative approach went beyond traditional broadcast highlights. Player-focused footage, slow-motion warm-ups, dugout reactions, and the energy of the crowd formed the foundation for social-first storytelling bringing fans closer to the personalities and atmosphere surrounding the game. The workflow was designed around both 9:16 vertical and 4:5 formats to support TNT Sports US, BR Walk-Off, and Bleacher Report’s social content needs.

With a dedicated shooter-and-editor setup, our team connected cinematic capture with fast-turn content delivery. When weather moved the game to an earlier start, we adjusted crew travel to match the revised schedule—bringing the flexibility required to cover live sports when plans change at the last minute.

Beyond game day, the project was built to give TNT’s editors a reusable footage library, organized by player, for fresh storylines and future social edits. This project highlights Athletic Content House’s ability to combine premium sports videography, real-time production, and adaptable on-site support for major media partners.

Pregame Players & Preparation

The plan for gameday prioritized starting-pitcher warm-ups, slow-motion swings, and identifiable player footage that could support both immediate social edits and later storytelling. Clean, versatile compositions gave TNT’s editors room to pair footage with different headlines and hooks. The main goal of pregame…don’t miss Jose Ramirez or Junior Caminero. The 2 stars.

In-Game Reactions & Stadium Energy

The coverage approach combined game action with the emotion around it: player reactions, crowd anticipation, and the atmosphere of postseason baseball. A live-edit workflow supported quick handoffs to TNT’s social team through a shared Slack channel. From Gavin Williams 9 K’s to Petey Halpin’s clutch homerun. We didn’t miss a beat.

Postgame Player Features & Reusable Footage

The follow-up workflow extended beyond the final out, with player-organized footage and a requested José player compilation drawing on warm-ups, a stolen-base celebration, and a smiling post-play reaction. The emphasis was on giving TNT useful material for additional edits not just single game-day assets.
