We spent a week in Ft. Lauderdale capturing the excitement around Lionel Messi’s first game playing for David Beckham’s Major League Soccer expansion team. We flew drones around the introduction event (which was viewed by 3.5 billion people on Apple TV), Messi’s first practice, billboard and signage throughout the city, and the debut game which had stars in attendance like Kim Kardashian & Lebron James. We were the first company to fly a drone on the pitch during a Major League Soccer event!
We created 10+ video and drone content pieces throughout the week which were posted across Instagram & TikTok and garnered over 25 millions views and 1.7 million likes
Our drone flight during the national anthem showed Becky G singing and then military flyover which led to one of our all time favorite shots. Apple TV incorporated this first-person-view (FPV) drone perspective shot into the documentary series “Messi Meets America”!
